Here are four less-blurry shots of some of the small-format paintings I've been doing recently. The basic breakdown is as follows:Scale - all paintings are 10 x 8 inches small (for those who know me, you know this is a stretch) Subject - impressions of Main Street Vancouver. They're not at all true-to-life representations. Colours are off. Scale is off. Buildings may or may not have been invented because they look good there or fit with the rhythm... but they're still usually recognisable spaces. Media - Acrylic, pencil, charcoal, ink, pen on prepared canvas Method - Additive cycle.
Anyhow, here are the images: [simage=11,400,n,center,][simage=8,400,n,center,] [simage=9,400,n,center,][simage=10,400,n,center,]
